KEKOVA
Kekova is one of the most unspoilt areas of the Turquoise
coast, a classical Lycian site and a very popular anchorage.
A day trip there by boat from Kas harbour will take in the
sites of three ancient cities, Aperlae, Teimiussa and Simena
(Kale).
Through the crystal clear waters round the Island of Kekova
you can see the foundations of the sunken antique settlement
and at Simena you can climb up to the smallest amphitheatre
in the world carved out of the base-rock.
